A Change in Pensions That Falls Short
Third week
February 2020
The government announced a 13% increase as of March 1st for the minimum pensions and social programs, a little over the 11.6% increase that should have been granted according to the now suspended Retirement Mobility Law. In Argentina there are 6.85 million pensioners, 4.4 million of which (65% of the total) receive the minimum pension, of 15,892 pesos per month since next March.
