The fact that 39.2% of Argentines are poor, that is, 18 million people, was expected by the market, but is no less alarming for that. It is shameful to see that more than 50% of children are below the poverty line. These numbers correspond to the second half of last year, when the economy grew 1% compared to the first half of the year and almost 4% against the second half of 2021. Economic growth did not stop poverty increase.
